If you are a group of up to 12 players, you will first come to us at Kaiserstraße 9. For 13 players or more, we meet at the Rathausplatz in Heilbronn, about 50 meters from our location. For 6 players or more, we usually divide you into small groups, but you can also play together. After a short introduction, each group receives an iPad and an "ActionPack" with all the necessary puzzle items. The targets are marked on the iPad, which you must master using your ingenuity and the materials. Important: Each group should also have their own smartphone with internet access, as this is required to solve some of the puzzles. In case of technical problems, our team can be reached by phone at any time.
After completing the tour or when the time is up, you return to the starting point and hand the equipment back to us. We are also happy to answer any further questions!
For our outdoor tours, it depends on which tour length you have booked. Our standard tour takes 2 to 3 hours, and our short tour takes 1.5 to 2 hours. Please plan for an additional 15 minutes for the briefing, as this is not included in the playing time.
You can play our outdoor tours with 3 or more players. For groups of 6 or more, we recommend splitting into teams – but of course, you are also welcome to play together.
Having your own smartphone with internet access would be very helpful for the tour. Additionally, sturdy footwear and something to drink certainly wouldn't hurt. Everything else, such as the iPad and ActionPack, will be provided by us.
You will walk a total of about 2 to 2.5 kilometers through downtown Heilbronn. Of course, you won't walk it all at once: while you are solving the puzzles, you will usually have about 10 minutes at each spot where you can sit down and take a short break from walking.
The routes for The Magic Portal and Operation Mindfall run through the city center down to the Neckar river and partly towards the Experimenta. The Blackout route takes you onto the BUGA grounds here in Heilbronn.
No, you will walk as a private group. There will also be no staff members walking with you.
Our staff members are reachable by phone at all times. Since you are in the city center, we also have the possibility to bring you a new iPad at any time in case of technical problems.
For the Short Tour, we have removed a few puzzles and adjusted the walking distance so that groups who don't have as much time for the Standard Tour can still play our outdoor tour.
